Looking for work

Welcome!
You have found a page about me, Berrit. I am a scientist, coder, creative, translator and language enthusiast, nature lover, knitter, dog and turtle-owner, adventurer, tinkerer, crafting enthusiast and generally fascinated by many things around me.

Lately, I have taken the plunge and moved to Germany, because I want to live here. Before that, I have been
working as an exam invigilator for Lund University, a vice chair person for my local housing association, a lab engineer for VA SYD, translator for Compilator and finished an internship at Spermosens in Lund. At the moment I am writing up my PhD thesis in Evolutionary Genetics and looking for a new job in Germany.
Always looking for new challenges, I am happy to be contacted by you for any new adventures!

Research

Science. There are new things to discover every day, the scientific society has developed a lot deeper and more detailed understanding about the world and its organisms all the time. I am very interested in how the environment influences the organisms from systems down to cell level and love to work with all things related, but not exclusive, to sperm biology, epigenetics and evolution down to a molecular level.
